Pioneering Creativity and Innovation
MSTECH Europe and SMT WORLDWIDE spearhead the iMAPS Spain chapter.
iMAPS (International Microelectronics Assembly & Packaging Society) is a distinguished non-profit organization specializing in Advanced Microelectronics Packaging, Interconnection, and Assembly. It fosters collaboration, learning, and engagement among academia, industry, and government entities. Alongside iMAPS, we aim to foster professional advancement and development within the semiconductor supply chain in Spain.
MULTISMART PROJECT
MSTECH EUROPE introduces groundbreaking patented curing technology to the market.
The MULTISMART PROJECT introduces innovative multifrequency programmable LED panels designed for curing PCB semiconductors, offering an eco-friendly alternative to mercury lamps. It incorporates advanced process control via a 4.0 data capture unit and integration with MES systems, making it compatible with both modern and legacy machinery (smart technology for existing equipment), ensuring enhanced efficiency and process optimization.
This pioneering advancement is the result of collaboration with CDTI, providing 85% of the project’s funding. The MULTISMART solution has recently received patent approval.
TRANSILIOT PROJECT
Enhancing National Competitiveness
The TRANSILIOT PROJECT is dedicated to elevating national competitiveness and fostering R&D in the advancement of state-of-the-art microelectronics.
Focused on flexible microelectronics, the TRANSILIOT PROJECT is dedicated to exploring innovative technological solutions across the entire processing chain.
Its objective is to pioneer a new era of printed electronics devices tailored for automotive applications. As part of this comprehensive approach, alternative laser sources will be investigated to encompass various manufacturing steps, including LIFT or Selective Sintering.
The consortium, coordinated by MSTECH EUROPE and with the continuous support and supervision of the R&D&I company GDE consists of four leading companies: NANOGAP, MAIER, ACCENT SYSTEMS, MSTECH EUROPE, with the collaboration of the applied research and technological development center TECNALIA.
This project is financially supported by CDTI and is part of the Science and Innovation Missions Program related to the PERTE of microelectronics and semiconductors. It is part of the State Program to Catalyze Innovation and Business Leadership of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2021-2023, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
